Registration for the Kentucky Folklife Network State-Wide Wide Meeting is now live!
The Kentucky Folklife Network is an initiative by the Kentucky Folklife Program designed to connect folklorists, community scholars, and folk arts organizations around the state.
Our state-wide meeting for the newly established Kentucky Folklife Network will be on May 28th and 29th in Bowling Green, KY.
The meeting will feature workshops conducted by folklorists from Kentucky and beyond on topics including: grant writing, oral history, public folklore and wellness, folklore and creative aging, and presenting narrative stages.
There will also be time to connect with others doing folklore-related work around the state, and dedicated time to collaboratively create a vision for the future of our Network. The registration fee will cover lunch on Thursday and Friday, dinner on Friday, and lodging on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Lodging space is limited so please register now if you need it!
